This one is a long time coming! Sage turned 2 last year and had the cutest Frozen birthday themed party! If you know me you know that I don’t skimp on birthdays, and I LOVE a reason to go all out. For her birthday, we let her decide between Dinosaurs or Frozen (two of her favorite 2 year old obsessions!). She obviously picked Frozen. From there we went with the theme: InTWO the Unknown! We transformed our home into a winter wonderland with icy blues, sparkling snowflakes, and all the magic of Arendelle. Sage’s face lit up with joy, and the kids had an absolute blast!
Here are the highlights and fun details of Sage’s unforgettable Frozen birthday celebration!
Frozen Birthday Party Invites
First, a party can’t even happen without the invites! We used this customizable option. They send you the template, you edit it, and can either send it like an e-vite or print it out. I love that it’s basically done for you. We just filled in the name, date, time, location, and RSVP. Super easy and so cute!
‘InTWO the Unknown’ Frozen Birthday Cake
Her beautiful cake! I purchased the characters on Amazon. The exact ones are no longer available, but here is a close second option. Then we kept them so she could play with them as little figurines after. The cake also tasted as good as it looks! If you are local to us – we purchase themed birthday cakes like this one from Sweet Solutions. I send over inspo pics and they always nail it!
Frozen Birthday Party Decor
The fun part! I mean, all of it is, but this really brings the magic: the decor! We set up 2 tables: One for her cake, and one for her gifts. I will link every piece of decor that we used. Mostly everything was purchased on Amazon, with the exception of her personalized banner that was purchased on Etsy!
Pro-tip: Purchase within 1-3 weeks of the party if from Amazon. This way, if there is any decor that you do not use, you can send it back!
PERSONALIZED FROZEN BANNER (Exact one unavailable but this is almost identical!)
Another angle! The white birch tabletop trees and larger tree are actually Christmas decorations that we had. So another tip – use any ‘snowy’, Frozen-esque Christmas decor that you have. They were perfect! I did link similar ones on Amazon, too!
Frozen-Themed Food
The little details make all of the difference in creating the magic! I found these cute printable food labels on Etsy. From there, we picked out the menu and came up with cute sayings for each. Our friends and family, especially the little ones, thought that it was so cool!
The majority of bowls and platters we already had. I find really cute ones at TJMaxx or Home Goods. Also, the dollar store sometimes has nice options too!
One cute area we had setup that I forgot to take a picture of, was a snow cone station outside! I found this really good organic snow cone syrup on Amazon! The brand has several flavor options.
Then we used these colorful snow cone cups that came with spoon/straws!
Frozen Birthday Party Outfit
How adorable is this! Another Etsy find. The seller was so easy to work with. There are several different bundle options (with skirt or without, with bow or without, etc), and the shirt comes in long sleeve, too! We opted to get the whole she-bang! It fit her perfectly. She wears the skirt for dress-up now, and wore the cute little shirt several times after as well. A keepsake for sure!
Frozen Birthday Party Games
Pin Olaf’s Nose! A rendition on an old favorite!
A Frozen piñata!
The Amazon option comes with party favors that you can put inside. We did a mix of those, our favorite organic suckers (Yum Earth!), fruit snacks, and organic chews similar to Starburst!
Frozen-Themed Party Favors
These were SO fun to make! I can’t remember if I saw the idea on a blog or Pinterest, so I can not take credit for that.
I put together ‘Build Your Own Snowman’ jars! It took maybe 30minutes to put all of these jars together. Then I supplied gift bags so that the kids could put their party favor, and all of their winnings from the piñata in them!
What you need:
The jars I linked hold 8oz. There are several white modeling doughs to choose from. So just divide the amount of dough in the tub that you choose, by 8oz. Then you’ll know how many tubs of dough you’ll need. I opted to put 6oz of dough in each to make space for the snowman accessories to also fit. You could always put those in a little bag and tie or tape to the jar.
I had a little scale at my house, so I measured out 6oz each. I used the plastic bags that the containers came in, to put the modeling dough in before putting it into the jar. That way, the accessories didn’t stick to the modeling dough.
A fun, cute, unique, sensory party favor for kids!
Sage’s Intwo the Unknown Frozen birthday party was a magical adventure filled with joy, laughter, and memories we’ll cherish forever—here’s to creating more enchanting moments as she grows!
