Halloween is almost upon us! It had me thinking about what we are going to be for Halloween this year, and reflecting on past family Halloween costumes. Here is one Halloween costume that was a blast for our family! We went with a classic fairy tale theme: I was Little Red Riding Hood, my husband played the Big Bad Wolf, and our toddler and two dogs were the Three Little Pigs!
Costume Fun
- Little Red Riding Hood (Me): I wore a red cape, white blouse, a black long sleeve shirt, black leggings, black boots, and carried a halloween basket. Simple and cute!
- Big Bad Wolf (Hubby): He wore a furry mask, hands, a tail, jeans, boots, and a plaid shirt. His wolf growls made our toddler giggle!
- Three Little Pigs (Toddler & Dogs): Our toddler and dogs looked adorable (and the dogs looked hilarious) in their matching piggy outfits! We layered our toddler with a pink sweater, leggings, and black boots to match!
Our Evening
We got ready early so that we had time for a quick little photo shoot, capturing some fun moments! Our decorated porch made the perfect backdrop! Thankfully it was warm enough outside that we didn’t need to bundle up. Our toddler loved posing with the dogs!
Then we were off trick-or-treating! It was a hit—our costumes got lots of compliments and brought smiles to everyone we met.
